In February of 2012 Earthborn Studios had the privilege of accompanying Chris Hastings of Hot & Hot Fish Club to New York City for Iron Chef America for the Chef Hastings vs. Chef (Bobby) Flay challenge. Earthborn created the one of a kind dinnerware Chef Hastings used in the “sausage” challenge. This decision to allow Earthborn’s owner, Tena Payne, to create one-of-a-kind dishes may have helped in the overall ”presentation” score and which led to a Chef Hastings WIN!
